It has been a busy couple of weeks on the front of fundraising for École Évangélique de l' Amitié Monterey -Burkina Faso. It began in the last week of February in Fresno, CA presenting a prayer in Mooré over the Mujeres en Misión annual Statewide COGOP Women's Conference in Fresno, CA. March is Missions Month throughout COGOP International and Marina Tabernacle COGOP was blessed with a visit from Professor and COGOP Regional and Global Administrator Dr. Maribel Zacapa, during which I was blessed with the opportunity to speak to the congregation at deeper level into the foundation and purpose of École Évangélique de l' Amitié Monterey -Burkina Faso.

NEWS FROM THE FRONTLINE: I was able to receive more detail regarding the delay in establishing the NGO in Burkina Faso. The Federal Government in Burkina Faso has slowed the NGO approval process for further review and scrutiny after it was discovered that the EU was utilizing an NGO out of the Netherlands as a medium to spy on the Burkinabé government. To explain, France is continuing to propogate the idea that the Union of Sahel States in Africa is hostile towards Europe/Europeans/Westerners, etc. This is simply not the case. The Sahel States are separating themselves from colonial dynamics of ECOWAS and asserting the political sovereignty of its member states and economic sovereignty as an economic block. Unfortunately, this careless act on the part of the EU has impacted the progress of true missionary aid and infrastructure to the region. Nevertheless, EEA Monterey-Burkina Faso continues with it's application on file and attentive to any request from Burkinabé functionaries.

This video shows the ploughing of the land on which the future site of École Évangélique de l'Amitié Monterey-Burkina Faso will be. This year we are preparing the land for planting of peanuts and beans which will be sold and reinvested back into the construction fund. A big thanks to Roger N. our ambassador to the chief of Doulougou, for this effort. 🫶🏼
