The White County Extension Homemakers Council will present a workshop on making Sourdough Bread on October 9, 2026 at the White County Extension Office located at 2400 Landing Rd in Searcy. The event starts at 5:30 til 7:30. There is an attendance limit of 15 people and a registration fee of $10.00. Deadline for registration is October 2, 2026. This is a hands on event and tasting the end product. Soup will be provided by the Extension Clubs.

We had a wonderful day on Friday hosting the Spring Sunshine Dinner for the widows and widowers in our community. We host this dinner twice a year, and we look forward to spending this time with great food and wonderful company. Thank you to everyone who came to join us!

Our next meeting is May 19th at 10 o’clock as we prepare for the Sunshine Dinner on the 22nd. If you are a widow or  widower, this dinner is for you. Reach out if you would like to join this event. Please let us know by May 15th.
