This is a friendly reminder about the tryout dates and times for the upcoming fall season with the Searcy Rangers! ⚽️🦌

All players born between 2008 and 2017 are invited to try out for our competitive teams. Teams will compete in 11v11, 9v9, and 7v7 formats, depending on the age group.

This year, there are a few important updates to our program. We will be implementing a significant reduction in club fees. In addition, age groups will now be formed based on the school year calendar. Please note that this is a national change, not a club-specific decision. We encourage you to review the details on our website to better understand which age group your player will fall into.

Tim Chung’s U12 boys team and Ryan Smith’s U12 girls team went to Burns Park to play in the Ron Heller Recreational Tournament over the weekend, and both teams took the cup in their divisions!

Also, the Rangers U14 girls were finalists at the Premier Invitational in Memphis this weekend with Coach Christian!

Congratulations to these local teams!!! ⚽️

Harding University is hosting a soccer camp for boys and girls ages 4–13 on June 1–3 from 9am–12pm. Soccer camp for girls 13+ is on June 6th and August 1st. ⚽️🦬

Here is the spring schedule for U4—U10!

Online registration is OPEN until February 7th for the spring season at searcysoccer.com, but it will be for WAITLIST only. We will not be forming any new teams this spring due to the construction/improvements taking place at the Soccer Complex for the next several months.

Many more details will be forthcoming, but for now we can tell you that this spring, U4—U12 will be playing games at the Harding University intramural fields, and U14—U16 will play games at Lion Stadium and train at the high school practice fields. The U4—U10 leagues will mostly play games on Saturdays like usual, but we will schedule games at 9:00, 10:15, 11:30, 12:45, and 2:00 in order to accommodate everyone since we will have fewer fields available at one time.

We would like to thank the City of Searcy for investing in our soon-to-be-improved soccer fields!!! We would also like to thank Harding University and Searcy High School for the use of some field space, specifically Tom Ritchie and Stephen Burks for coordinating with the university and Dean Stanley and Butch Schucker for facilitating at Searcy Schools. THANK YOU!!!

We are excited to get the spring season started on February 28th, and we thank all of you awesome parents in advance for your patience with us during this unconventional spring season!

Here is a map of the Soccer Complex to facilitate finding your games this morning! I'm sorry to not have posted it last week!

Also, the concession stand at the Soccer Complex will be open today! For snowcones, three options will be available: red, blue, and yellow. Your team will only get one flavor for the entire team. Please send a team parent to the concession stand to pick these up, and then please return the tray when your team is finished with it. Please place team orders on the right-side window. The concession stand will also be open for all of your regular snack purchases!
