SUCCESS! Despite a brain cancer diagnosis and finding herself homeless , this single mom refused to let it define her.
In the face of unimaginable adversity, this single mom discovered an unyielding strength within herself. Today, she finds herself in her own home after leaving Jacob’s Place.
Her journey from a brain cancer diagnosis and homelessness to becoming a teacher and community member is a shining example of the transformative power of determination and the human spirit.
She is now cancer free, in her own home with her family, and making a great income. An absolute incredible story.

Whew! What a day! Our pantry has been nearly emptied with an overwhelming amount of needy families today. We are thankful that we had enough for over 300 hungry children that came with their parents today.
We aren’t done yet! But we need help from our community and our supporters. If you have any food to donate now is the time that we need it most! Canned foods, meat, eggs, deer meat, snacks, etc are all welcome!

We have been able to feed thousands of meals to hundreds of hungry children this month! Thank you to our partners that have empowered us to do so!

A success story years in the making! A mother and father struggling with addiction made the hard choice to admit themselves into 2 different rehabs. Mom and children in one, father in the other. A common, difficult decision families in addiction make to get the help they need.

Fast forward a year, mom was able to complete her program, and dad was able to complete his. They were able to reunite at Jacob's Place (one of few shelters that allow married couples to stay together) and begin their journey anew, and together. 4 months later both parents are working, making a great income, sober, and moving into their own home.

This journey took the partnerships of two different rehabs, Jacob's Place, and the determination to overcome a lifelong struggle. Help us celebrate a successful, wonderful story that was a year and a half in the making!

A sincere thank you to Cloverdale Church of Christ for volunteering at Jacob’s Place. These members helped us organize our food pantry, our diapers closet, clean, and do some much needed yard work.

Walmart Distribution provided some fresh bread to add to our food pantry. Today alone we have served 21 hungry families with hungry children. We are thankful for our corporate sponsors that allowing us to keep our food pantry stocked and ready.

The community is rallying together to help those at risk of hunger. We would like to thank City of Searcy Professional Firefighters Association Local 2397 and all the organizations coming together to help those experiencing a food insecurity crisis.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the anonymous church who has contributed these crucial food items to our public pantry. We have distributed over 1,000 meals worth of groceries today alone! We are thankful for the support of everyone who has responded to our requests for help in this difficult time.
