Cedar Rock Ministries Cedar Rock Ministries offers spiritual tending to couples and individuals. Our core values permeate how we work and the services we offer.

The aim of our ministry is to help people find rest and connection through practicing presence. RESTFUL RECEIVING – We live out of the abundance of life and love that God gives us. UNHURRIED PACE – We slow down to attend to the Spirit’s power and direction. POWERFUL PRESENCE – We relate with awareness and purpose, living responsively rather than reactively. FREQUENT SUBTRACTION – We regularly let go of distractions. We often say “no” to the good in order to say “yes” to the best. CURIOUS EXPLORATION – We trust there is always more strength, beauty and goodness to discover everywhere and in everyone. INTENTIONAL PLAY – We enjoy our relationships and our work. We see play as a fruit of trusting relationships and meaningful work. HOLISTIC GROWTH – We seek full integration and connection. While depending on the Spirit, we pursue wholeness in ourselves, our relationships, and our organization.

I had a friend recently confess to me that her bathroom got re-done. So now she uses the other shower... to keep the new one nice. Her head fell in her hands, so I knew she knew what I was gonna say. Do you?

God gives us gifts to be enjoyed. C.S. Lewis wrote, "The serious business of heaven is joy." Have you lost sight of this? How do you relate with your desires? Do you judge them, resist them, explore them? When have you dreamed without allowing time, money, obligations to choke it out?

Lately my son has decided he wants to pray when we sit down to eat. "Dear God, I like my mom, my dad, and my sisters, and I like me. I like this food. I like diggers. Amen."

And I think God likes it. I know I do.
