The Serenity Prayer, for resource parents 🕊️

Many of us know the Serenity Prayer by heart. For resource families, each line carries extra weight.

God, grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change—
The unknowns. The hard moments. The parts of a child’s story we cannot rewrite.

Courage to change the things we can—
To offer patience, consistency, a safe place to land, and love that shows up again tomorrow.

And wisdom to know the difference—
To trust that even in the waiting, the healing, and the uncertainty, God is at work.

To every resource parent walking this meaningful and challenging road: you are not alone. Your steady presence matters more than you may ever know. 💙
