Child Safety Center Empower. Protect. And Restore Children. Because every child deserves a great childhood. The center has three goals:

1.

Provide a child-friendly, safe, and secure environment for children who may have been sexually or otherwise seriously abused. The child is interviewed by a specially trained forensic interviewer. They are assisted with the interview by State Police, local law enforcement, the Sheriff Office, DHS medical and mental health professionals.

2. Provide whatever needed services or referrals to assist the child and non offending family members in the recovery process

3. Partner with community agencies to promote education, awareness and prevention programs through school-based programs, community events and fundraisers

Sometimes, the most beautiful way to honor a life is by giving hope and life to others. ❤️

When Tucker tragically lost his life, his family turned to the Child Safety Center of North Central Arkansas for support as their daughter navigated the trauma and grief of suddenly losing her brother. During their family’s hardest tragedy, the CSC was there to walk alongside them and help them begin their journey toward healing.

Now, in a beautiful act of generosity, Tucker’s family is turning their grief into a legacy of giving by partnering with Our Blood Institute through Donable® Cares to honor Tucker’s life, save lives through blood donations, and give back to the organization that supported their family when they needed it most. ❤️

And here’s the incredible part: ONE act of giving can make TWO powerful impacts! 🙌

🩸 Give blood and help save lives. Every donation helps to save 3 lives!

💙 Give back to the CSC. For every blood donation made through our fundraiser link, Donable® Cares will donate funds to the Child Safety Center of North Central Arkansas! First-time donors can generate a donation of $100–$175, while other donations generate $15–$60 each.

Today we also want to take a moment to celebrate the birthday our dear friend, coworker, and child advocate, Kinsey Beck.

Kinsey is an OG advocate at the Child Safety Center and has been with the center for 9 years. During her time, she has advocated for hundreds of children and families and has done so with determination, grit, compassion, hustle and a good attitude.

Kinsey has made a tremendous impact in the lives of her clients and their families. She works hard behind the scenes to advocate for the vulnerable and ensure every child receives the care and support they deserve.

Outside of work, Kinsey loves to spend time with her kids, travelling and coaching all the sports teams. She is funny, fun-loving, and softy at heart, so send her all the love in the comments.

Please join us in wishing a very happy birthday to one of our trauma therapists, Anna!

Anna started with us as a mental health intern and has grown into such an incredible part of our therapy team. She brings a wisdom beyond her years and has a way of staying calm, steady, and grounded even in the midst of crises. If you know Anna, you know her passion runs deep. She is a fierce advocate for her clients and the people she loves, and she shows up with so much heart in everything she does.

Anna is unapologetically herself, whether she's sharing her love of public speaking, voicing her strong opinions about certain popular holidays, or showing up in an outfit that is uniquely her! She brings so much personality, heart, and purpose to our team, and we're better because she's part of it.

On World Food Day, we’re remembering a beautiful example of what happens when a community comes together. 💙

During the 2025 government shutdown, our community rallied to make sure children and families had access to food when they needed it most. What started with the generosity of one family, turned into a huge collaborative effort organized by the members of Downtown Church. From donations to acts of kindness, we were reminded that no one has to face hard seasons alone.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity, compassion, and support our community continues to show.

Here at the Child Safety Center, we love hearing of all the good work that our Communities do to help children.

Junior Auxiliary of Searcy shares our goal in supporting kids and all of their needs. For the month of October, Junior Auxiliary has donated items that make our work here at the Child Safety Center easier.

We wanted to express our gratitude and encourage everyone to be involved in any local group that helps take care of our kiddos.

We took the opportunity to celebrate the cooler temps with a delicious potluck Soup Lunch Day along with laughter and good conversations.

The work we do is difficult yet vital. These short moments to "pause" and simply enjoy good food and each others company is a small gift of of refreshment which helps us to continue this work with fervor. 💙

Please drop off gift cards to area fast food restaurants and gas stations at our office the week of October 5.
