It is time for a fundraiser. Sponsors and Donations are needed. All funds raised go directly to college scholarships and bringing Nationally renowned speakers to educate the youth of White Countyt to the dangers of bullying and to raise awareness to youth su***de. There are ZERO administrative fees. So - with that being said, there will be a Ribeye Steak Cookoff on June 18th and 19th. Single steak turn in on the 18th and 2 steak turn ins on Saturday. There is over $15,000 worth of CASH PRIZES which includes a $3,000 Grand Champion based on points over the 3 steaks. Pays through the top 10 places. There will also be a "KIDS STEAK COOKOFF" If you are interested in competing, hop on this thread. Trophies will be awarded to the top 10 places in each Steak Event. I believe we had about 57 teams (which usually consist of 2-4 people per team) from 13 different states to compete. If you would like to help sponsor this event, please comment on this thread and we can work that out too. We sure love our village. Thank you for helping us help others. With great regret, we are going to cancel Jammim' For Jesse this year. We feel it would be irresponsible to hold an indoor event during the Delta variant of Covid. I hate this. This is the 2nd year in a row we have had to cancel our biggest fundraiser. We are happy that there are still a couple potential outdoor events to help recoup the loss. Thank you all for your prayers and support. We will continue to fight bullying and the stigma related to su***de. We love our village.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the 3rd SCA Cookoff in Searcy, Arkansas this past weekend. We had about 55 teams from 12 different states. A special thanks to those who donated money when our pork butts were stolen. John Lindsey....man, I guess you just know what the judges like in Searcy. John has been to all 3 cooks here in Searcy and has 3 Championship boards. I can't thank all of the contestants enough. We love each and every one of you. Kandis Rodgers and Carol Burdison are the absolute BEST SCA Reps EVER! Delbert and Tracy - You guys were amazing! Slade Douglas.......man......You are the man!!! None of this would've ever happened without your help, ideas, and leadership. Many thanks to Al Fowler for taking time out of his day, once again, to take pictures for us!!
