Hello friends.

Have cooler bags you can’t use? We will gladly take them off your hands.

While we can’t recycle/use old Tshirt or shopping bags, cooler bags are different because they can be sanitized easily.

A huge thank you to the Ohio Brush Creek Herb Guild for their generous donation to both the C180 Emergency Food Pantry and Interfaith House!

Many times we are able to provide the main ingredients needed for a meal or side dish, but not the seasonings that help turn those ingredients into something truly delicious. Sometimes people simply aren’t sure what seasonings work best with certain foods.

The Ohio Brush Creek Herb Guild recognized that need and went above and beyond by assembling and packaging seasoning packets that we can distribute alongside future food items. These thoughtful additions will help families make the most of the food they receive and add a little extra flavor to their tables.

We are so grateful for community partners like the Ohio Brush Creek Herb Guild who see a need and find creative ways to meet it. Thank you for helping us better serve our neighbors throughout Adams County

A huge THANK YOU to the County Junior Fair Board for helping pack dry food bags for our upcoming distribution at the C180 Emergency Food Pantry!

It’s encouraging to see the next generation leading by example and demonstrating what it means to care for their neighbors. We are proud of each and every one of them!

Whether you’re facing a temporary hardship, trying to stretch your grocery budget, caring for children or grandchildren, or simply need a little extra help, there are people and organizations throughout our county ready to serve you with dignity, compassion, and kindness.

If you know someone who may be struggling, please share this post. Sometimes people just need to know where to turn.

Together, we can make sure no one in our community goes hungry. ❤️

Another opportunity for ALL residents of Adams County. For children 0-18.

☀️ Free Summer Meals for Kids at Your Library!

The Adams County Public Library is partnering with Children's Hunger Alliance to help keep kids nourished all summer long!

📅 Beginning June 8 through August 10, children and teens ages 0–18 can pick up a week's worth of free shelf-stable meals every Monday from 12–2 p.m. at the Manchester, Seaman, Peebles, and West Union Libraries.

👪 📣 Parents, guardians, and caregivers may pick up meals on behalf of children, making it easy for busy families to access nutritious food throughout the summer. Parents must sign a form allowing others to pick up meals for their children. No income requirements to participate.

✨ Stop by your local library, grab your meals, and enjoy a healthy summer with full bellies and bright minds!
