Planting tips before shopping
1. Small starter plants establish better then larger plants so save your money (Buy smaller ones)
2. Plant in 3’s, 3’s 7’s or 9’s .. in triangle shapes . It looks more natural
3. Always start with soften but not overworked soil. It takes walking on garden soil 5-7 years to get it back because of compaction, which crushes the soil's natural structure and reduces pore space. This inhibits water drainage, reduces essential oxygen for root respiration,destroys beneficial soil organisms, and restricts root growth, leading to stunted plants and poor nutrient uptake. Over worked soil does the same thing. (Use a board lifted by a brick on each end. On a wide garden)
4. Think about like minded plants in the same areas. Because if you place plants that need a lot of water, next to plants that want to dry out between watering . If you plant plants who don’t care if their leaves get wet, verses plants with delicate leaves that will burn when the sun touches them wet .
5. Plant your taller plants to the back of smaller plants (center if you are doing a circular garden). Watch out for jealous plants that will choke~out those plants around (invasive plants) .
6. Now, if you want to plant Spring flowers, Summer flowers and a third time for Fall … keep that in mind. Or be prepared to fill in … I tell you this because, I once planted all tulips in my dahlia garden . They decided to stay beautiful until the dahlias told me to “Get them out of there ! It’s my turn!”
It was a hard thing to pull out beautiful ladies for tantrum girls.

We had a super successful Flea Market (Thank You ! !)

Yet in such short amount of hours, We still had lots left over and people trying to come after the doors were closed (and even the next day🫣) .

So we have accepted MORE items ….And will have a SECOND CHANCE SALE .

But that’s it (at least this year. A member is major downsizing next year and everyone had so much fun ..it might just come back next year) So if your looking for some cool stuff and just ask anyone … they couldn’t believe the fabulous prices .. Come have fun with us …And bring a friend or two… No early opening or next day trying to shop🤭

“Snail Seed Starters” come at 10 :30 am on February 18th and learn how to start seeds in a way that SAVES SPACE,helps them grow perfectly straight, and easy to transplant ! February is the perfect time to get your spring flowers started !
