A strong winter storm system is expected to impact Orange County during the holiday week, bringing heavy rain, gusty winds, and an increased risk of flooding.

Rainfall totals of 4–8 inches are possible across the county through Saturday, with the heaviest rain expected late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. These conditions may lead to localized flooding, debris flows near hillsides and burn areas, and possible road closures.
Residents should plan ahead by:

    •    Avoiding flooded roadways and low-lying areas
    •    Allowing extra travel time or delaying trips during peak rainfall
    •    Securing outdoor items and staying alert for changing conditions

Stay informed by monitoring official weather updates and local alerts. Small actions ahead of time can help reduce risk and keep our community safe.

Stay alert. Stay prepared.
