It's with a sad heart that I'm sharing the news that our baby girl crossed over the Rainbow Bridge 02/08/2025

UPDATE ON TWISTER'S VET VISIT FEBRUARY 7TH, 2025...

Unfortunately the news is not good.

Right now I feel broken. All the way home I could feel one of my anxiety/panic attacks coming on & had to take a Xanax as soon as I got home to slow things down & prevent a major attack.

Those who don't know me may ask why... she's just a dog. But furbabies are so, so much more. They will give you unconditional love & they won't betray you like fake families & fake friends will.

All my furbabies are my children & I've grieved over many who've moved on to new families or who we've lost.

Twister has never been 'just' a dog. She's much, much more than that. And my heart is breaking into a million tiny shards because "Twister the Twisted Sister"... My Little Renaissance Pup... My Scarby Girl... My Constant Compainion at home & almost everywhere I go... My Baby who has slept on my chest "every single night" for all but a handful of nights, (when I've been hospitalized)... for the past 14 years... is in late stage kidney failure & she's dying...

Is there anything that can be done? What can we do for her? In one word... 'nothing'.

Her vet could give us subQ fluids to give her, & if we're lucky, she might get a few more weeks. If we chose this, it would be for selfish reasons, as it wouldn’t benefit her at all & would only prolong the inevitable.

By not doing subQ fluids her time is limited to meer days. And as she progresses into end stage it can be rough on both her & us.

So, I had to make the decision to have her spend one more weekend at home with us & unless nature takes its course in the next two days, then we will be saying our final goodbyes on Monday morning, February 10th.

And I will be 'Forever Broken'. 'Forever Lost' without her.

Why has Biden/Harris approved to send another $157 Million US dollars to help Lebanon when they have yet to help the people affected by Hurricane Helene, here in our own country!

It seems to me they prefer helping people in other countries rather than the country they should be helping!
