✨ Sunday Recap: Family Values — Building Rhythms of Faith

This Sunday, we were reminded that strong faith doesn’t happen by accident—it’s formed through consistent, everyday rhythms.

Faith isn’t just something we practice on Sunday. It belongs in our homes, our workplaces, our conversations, our relationships, and every ordinary moment in between.

We talked about establishing simple rhythms of:
📖 Scripture — letting God’s Word guide our lives
🙏 Prayer — talking with God in every circumstance
🙌 Worship — making our whole lives an offering to God
❤️ Serving & generosity — becoming the hands and feet of Jesus
🤝 Grace & forgiveness — making Christlike love normal in our homes

And the goal isn’t perfection. It’s consistency. Small, repeated acts of faith shape who we become and teach the next generation what it looks like to follow Jesus.

What we repeat, we remember. What we practice, we become.

There is no perfect family—just imperfect people following a perfect Savior. So start small. Start today. Build one rhythm that points you and those around you back to Jesus.
And above all, remember: Jesus is the one who saves and transforms us. Our rhythms simply create space to encounter Him.

We also celebrated the faithful service of Liz & Eric, welcomed new leaders stepping into Hope Kids and Hope Youth, and celebrated all that God is doing through our church family. 💙
Let’s be a people who don’t just attend church—but live as the church.

✨ SUNDAY RECAP | HONOR • SERVE • SUBMIT ✨

This Sunday we continued talking about what real Christian community looks like—and it’s so much more than simply showing up to church.

Following Jesus was never meant to be lived alone. It isn’t just me and Jesus—it’s us and Jesus. ❤️

We were challenged to live out three more of the “one anothers” of Scripture:

Honor one another.
“Outdo one another in showing honor.” — Romans 12:10

Instead of asking, Why didn’t anyone notice me? we can ask, Who can I encourage? Who can I thank? Who can I remind that they are seen?

Serve one another.
Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve. And serving isn’t just about filling a volunteer spot—it shapes our hearts to look more like His.

Every time we serve, we get another opportunity to say, “Jesus, I’m choosing Your way over my way.”

Submit to one another.
Biblical submission is not control, weakness, or permission for abuse. It is Christlike humility—being willing to listen, yield, stay teachable, and put God’s will above our own selfish desires.

“Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” — Ephesians 5:21

The challenge for us this week is simple:

❤️ Who can I honor?
🙌 How can I serve?
🙏 Where do I need to yield?

Community doesn’t become powerful because everyone is alike. Community becomes powerful when different people choose Christ’s will above their own.

The world doesn’t need another organization. It needs a community that LOVES—people who show up, carry burdens, make room for one another, and live like Jesus.

That’s the kind of church we want to be. ❤️

Honor one another. Serve one another. Submit to one another.
