Boy Scouts Troop 106

I'm beyond proud to announce that, as of today, Cash is officially an Eagle Scout! 🦅

This evening, he successfully completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review, marking the final step in an incredible journey that began when he first joined Scouts as a Tiger Cub. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to watch him grow every step of the way. I've had the privilege of being his Scout Leader, Cubmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, and, most importantly, his Mom (Leslie Shirhall). Watching his dedication, perseverance, leadership, and character develop over the years has filled my heart with pride.

We want to thank everyone for their support and help guiding him to beg who he is today! He has had so many great role models that have taught him the importance of leadership, loyalty, honesty, and being helpful. A special thank you to Opa and Oma (Kenny and Dwana Finster) and all the family and friends that helped with the completion of his Eagle Project.

Earning the rank of Eagle Scout is a remarkable achievement that reflects years of hard work, service, and commitment. I couldn't be more proud of everything he has accomplished and the young man he has become.

Congratulations, Eagle Scout Cash Shirhall! Your future is bright, and I can't wait to see all that you accomplish next. We love you and are so proud of you! ❤️🦅

Cub Scouts Adaline, Dean, and Declan Adame and Dylan Childers had a fantastic time at their summer outing! Scouts and parents enjoyed watching Toy Story 5, followed by lunch and games at Mr. Gatti's. It was a fun-filled day of fellowship, laughter, and making memories together.

A special thank you to their parents, Scoutmaster Rebecca Lynn Rodriguez and Cubmaster Leslie Shirhall for helping make this outing a success!

Congratulations to Troop and Pack 106 Scouts!

Congratulations to all of our Troop and Pack 106 Scouts on your accomplishments over the past year! We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and growth each of you has demonstrated.

Although many scouts were unable to attend this year's Blue and Gold Banquet, we want to recognize their achievements and celebrate their success.

A special congratulations goes to our Life Scouts, Cash Shirhall, Kayden Rodriguez, and Kendell Cady, who are currently working on their Eagle Scout Projects. Their commitment and leadership exemplify the values of Scouting.

We would also like to recognize the outstanding achievements of our merit badge leaders:

Kayden Rodriguez has earned 102 merit badges.

Cash Shirhall has earned 101 merit badges.

Kendell Cady has earned 53 merit badges.

These accomplishments reflect countless hours of learning, service, and perseverance.

Congratulations to all of our scouts for your achievements and continued dedication. We are proud of each and every one of you.

Scoutmaster Rebecca Rodriguez and Cubmaster Leslie Shirhall are honored to support and guide such an exceptional group of young leaders.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of the leaders, Patrick Henley, Mr. and Mrs. Belter, Seadrift Methodist Church, volunteers, and parents whose encouragement and support help shape the Future Leaders of Tomorrow.

On Earth Day 2026, Scouts Adaline Adame, Dean Adame, Declan Adame, Dylan Childers, and Cash Shirhall came together to talk about the importance of caring for our planet. After their discussion, they planted an apple tree as a hands-on way to give back to the environment. In the future, they’ll be able to harvest the apples and use them to practice cooking, connecting sustainability with practical life skills.
