I had intended to share this video of the tour of the east side of the neighborhood yesterday shortly after it was taken, but it seems there was a technical glitch and I didn't realize it was posted because I was cleaning up all day.

Our Story

Established in 1996, Seacrest Beach has become a popular destination for those longing to experience the best of Florida: sugar white sand, dunes, emerald water, spectacular breath-taking sunsets. Whether you want to stay all winter or just a week, there are vacation options that include luxury accommodations in modern beach homes and spacious pool side condominiums. The familiar scent of suntan oil mixed with relaxing salt air travels on cool Gulf breezes here. Guests have been known to relax beside the Lagoon pool for hours in one of Seacrest’s cozy lounge chairs. Shaded by tall palms, it’s a popular spot for families to splash and play around a central fountain water feature. A snack bar offers cool beverages and refreshments for residents and guests.

The History of Seacrest

Seacrest Beach II began development in 1996 by George Dana “Doodle” Harris, President of Dana Beach Resorts, Inc. The Master Plan was approved by Walton County on December 29, 1996, but later amended five times to result in the current community layout on May 8, 2001.Notice of Commencement for the Lagoon Pool was filed with the County in October, 1998. The pool was completed on May 25, 2000. Construction of the first homes was also completed in 2000.The Seacrest Beach Owners Association (SBOA) took control of the Community from the Developer in October, 2004. In 2007, the Developer transferred the walking trails, the 14 acre Greenway and the interior common areas blocks to the SBOA. The Lagoon Pool and related common areas were purchased from the Developer in 2010.
