Our Story
Welcome! Cub Scout Pack 95 is a member of the San Jacinto District of the Sam Houston Council, Boy Scouts of America. Pack 95 has been chartered by the same organization, Seabrook United Methodist Church, for over 80 years. The majority of our Scouts attend Bay Elementary, Ed White Elementary, and Bay Area Charter Elementary; but any boy in kindergarten- 5th grades is welcome to join us. The Pack has a close relationship with Boy Scout Troop 95. Many Scouts choose to continue their scouting with Troop 95 after their elementary years. Our Pack meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at Seabrook United Methodist Church, 3300 Lakeside Drive, Seabrook, TX. Pack meetings give leaders the opportunity to award Scouts for achievements completed and inform parents of important Pack events. In addition to the monthly meetings, the Pack also participates in other activities throughout the year. Some examples are District Fishing Tournament, Raingutter Regatta, Pinewood Derby, Christmas Party, Blue and Gold Banquet, Overnight Camping Trips, District Pushmobile Race, Seabrook 4th of July Parade, Friday night fireworks in June, Movie Night, Water Rocket Day and Scout Fair. The Pack is divided into smaller groups called dens. The dens are comprised of scouts in the same grade working together to complete requirements for advancement. The dens accomplish their rank's specific requirements through field trips, hands-on projects, and doing tasks at home. Dens are led by one or two trained parent volunteers called Den Leaders. Dens meet on a weekly basis on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM located at 3300 Lakeside Drive, Seabrook, Tx. Our Scouts have fun with a purpose! The Pack activities are designed to have a lasting impact on the Scouts, parents, and our community. Cub Scouting provides a positive environment where the boys grow friendships, learn practical skills, develop a spirit of community service, build character, improve physical fitness all while enjoying fun, safe, wholesome activities.
