🚨 DANCERS WANTED! 🚨

It’s time to hit the floor! 💃🏽🔥 In service & partnership with The Mel Johnson, Int’l, We’re putting together a COMMUNITY DANCE TEAM for a special performance on Sunday, May 24, 2026 — and I’m looking for dancers who are ready to bring the energy!

This will be an 8-WEEK DANCE INTENSIVE where we’ll train, learn choreography, build confidence, and prepare for an exciting performance in the community. If you or your child love to dance and want to be part of something fun and powerful, this is your chance!

✨ DETAILS:
🔥 Ages 6+
🔥 Some dance experience required
🔥 Practice Location: Lanham, MD
🔥 Performance: Sunday, May 24, 2026 8pm

This is more than just dancing — it’s about community service, creativity, and putting on an unforgettable show! 🎉

Last dance Season, The Youth Academy for the Arts, Inc. had the honor of performing at The Service Ball, a beautiful gala hosted by The Storehouse — the nation’s first Black-run food bank. 🖤🥂

We are especially proud to share that our very own Executive Director, The Mel Johnson, who also serves as the CEO of The Storehouse, continues to lead with vision, purpose, and a heart for the community. 🌟

Our dancers lit up the evening with passion, grace, and artistry — celebrating a cause that uplifts and serves so many. 🙌🏾✨

Looking for an inexpensive, fun and enriching activity for your child/children? Join us every Saturday at 10 or 11 am for our ballet/jazz classes, tailored for children ages 2-12! 💫
