So much sparkle, so many smiles, and SO many bracelets! ✨💖
This weekend, the Kids & Paper crew had the best time hosting our bead bracelet making table at the Bay Carnival on the campus of ! From colorful beads to creative designs, our amazing kids and staff turned tiny beads into big moments of joy.
We loved seeing our school community come together, families stopping by, friends crafting side by side, and laughter filling the air. Events like these remind us why we love being part of such a special place. It’s more than an after school program, it’s connection, creativity, and community all wrapped up in one sweet bracelet. 💕
Thank you to everyone who came by to bead with us! We can’t wait for the next chance to create together.

Our Seattle students put their creativity and engineering skills to the test with an Egg Drop Challenge! 🥚🚀
Using only recycled materials, the kids designed their own protective contraptions and then let them soar to see whose egg could survive the fall. The room was full of problem solving, teamwork, excitement, and plenty of giggles as creations were put to the test.
We love seeing how inventive and brave our young makers can be. ♻️💡

Our Kids & Paper team had an amazing time at the Lavace Stewart Elementary Fall Festival hosting the always-popular temporary tattoo table. 🎨✨ Kids lined up for their favorite designs, laughter filled the air, and even our local police officers joined in on the fun, proudly showing off their new tattoos! 🚓💪

Events like this remind us how special it is to be part of such a warm and connected community. Thank you to everyone at Lavace Stewart Elementary and Stewart Elementary PTA for inviting us to be part of the celebration and to our dedicated staff for bringing so much joy and creativity to the evening. 💛

Our amazing Kids & Paper staff had a blast at the Ed White Annual Fall Festival, where they hosted a mask-making and temporary tattoo table for all the kiddos! 🖍️✨

From glitter and paint to smiles and laughter, it was such a joy to be part of this special community event and to spend time with so many wonderful families. 💛

🧠✨ Hands-on learning never felt so fun! ✨🧠

At our Kids & Paper Ed White after school program, students put their critical thinking skills to the test with our Academic Game of the Day: Sensory Touch! 👋🎯

Each table had mystery boxes filled with random items, and teams worked together to guess what was inside using only their sense of touch. From “robot candy” (Lego pieces!) to other creative guesses, our students showed teamwork, imagination, and tons of laughter along the way. 💭😂

Learning happens best when kids are curious, engaged, and having fun, and this activity checked all the boxes! 📦💡

On October 16th, while teachers had their in-service day, our Kids & Paper Texas team came together for another incredible all staff training focused on one big goal: turning great ideas into real fun for our students! 💡🎲

Staff spent the day stepping into the kids’ shoes, playing, creating, and practicing how to bring lessons to life in engaging, hands-on ways. From laughter to teamwork, it was a day full of learning, energy, and inspiration. 💛

📚✨ At Kids & Paper, we start every day with intention and a question.
Today, one of our young leaders had the honor of writing the ‘Question of the Day’ on our whiteboard, kicking off our rug-time discussion. This daily practice helps spark curiosity, build communication skills, and set the tone for collaborative learning.
We believe that asking thoughtful questions is the first step toward critical thinking and we love watching our kids grow into confident, creative thinkers. 💬🧠

While kids had the day off from school, our amazing Kids & Paper Texas team came together for a full day of training, learning, and growing. From playing team-building games full of laughter to sharing tips and strategies to strengthen programming at every site, today was all about connection and collaboration. 🙌✨

We are so grateful for this dedicated group of youth service providers who show up every day with passion and heart for the kids we serve. Seeing their energy, commitment, and creativity in action reminds us why our programs are so impactful. 📚🎨⚽
