Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a leader who dared to dream of a world rooted in justice, dignity, and equality for all. ✨✊🏾

Dr. King reminded us that “faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” His dream continues to inspire generations to believe in hope, courage, and the power of community.

At the Congolese Integration Network, we see that dream alive every day—in the hearts of immigrants and refugees who arrive with hope, resilience, and dreams of safety, opportunity, and a better future for their families. 🌍💛

As we reflect today, let us recommit to building bridges, uplifting one another, and creating spaces where every dream has a chance to grow. 🤝🌱

The dream lives on—through compassion, service, and unity. 💙🕊️

INSECURITY IN EASTERN CONGO,

"All this is happening because the Congolese state is absent and we, the governed, are left to our sad fate, and we see no signs that the current leadership is thinking about the well-being of the citizens in the near future," said the bishops. One must ask whether this behavior does not contribute to the plan of "balkanization" and the dismemberment of the Democratic Republic of Congo, despite the fact that the population has already categorically opposed it," they emphasize.
