🌸🌼 Did you know that flowers are the reproductive structures of flowering plants? Students are learning that flowers are more than just beautiful—they play an important role in plant reproduction!🌼🌸

From creating flower crowns in Advanced Floral Design, to making origami flowers to learn the parts of a flower, crafting Play-Doh flowers in Horticulture, and designing wire flowers in Floral Design, our students have been exploring flowers in all kinds of creative ways! 🌷💐

We love combining creativity with hands-on learning in our Ag classrooms! 🌻🌿

The 2027 Exhibitor Handbook is now posted on our Livestock Show Exhibitor Page!

NEW: Indemnities and Calf Scramble applications will be uploaded electronically to the entry portal for review and approval. Entry Worksheets are available on our website to assist AST/CEA in gathering information; however, they are NOT required to be mailed. W-9’s will be requested electronically once placing premiums have been finalized.

If paying by check, please mail the online entry summary page with payment postmarked by December 5th. If paying online, no further paperwork needs to be mailed.

We are so thankful to the Scurry-Rosser ISD Education Foundation for supporting a grant to bring two new workbench tables and stools to the Ag Department!🪑🌱

These tables will be a great addition to our classroom and will give our students more space for hands-on learning, projects, labs, and collaboration. Our students already love them!

We truly appreciate the Foundation’s continued support of Scurry-Rosser students, teachers, and programs. Your generosity helps us create better learning experiences for our students, and we are so grateful!💚🐾

STATE FAIR OF TEXAS

We’re kicking off our State Fair results with a great group of exhibitors representing Scurry-Rosser FFA! We are so proud of the hard work and dedication these students put into their projects and getting them ready for the State Fair of Texas!
