🇺🇸 THEIR NAMES ARE COMING HOME. 🇺🇸

While I was away enjoying a little history travel, progress was happening right here at the Scriba Veterans Memorial Park.

Curtis and Ethan from the Department of Buildings & Grounds, together with the Oswego County Monument Company, placed the quarried WWII Memorial bluestones into their new foundational beds.

Next comes the part that means the most: the bronze plates bearing the names of Scriba’s WWII veterans.

One stone.
One name.
One story at a time.

A long-planned vision is becoming a lasting place of remembrance — honoring the men and women from Scriba who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
