That’s us for last week and today!

Points of business:
1. Hygiene items are going fast and tents, shoes, and other requests are coming in weekly. We will be posting a specific list of needs this week for hygiene and small item donations, but you can always check our links to donate directly or to shop off our Amazon wishlist (if you don’t want to shop on Amazon, you can use it for inspo an shop more locally / bring things on Saturdays.)

2. April sticker club stickers will be ordered this week and be sent out mid-month! If you want to join, you have time to get April’s sticker! Also, if you’re a Scranton local artist who would like to donate a sticker design, DM us!

3. We are always, always looking for weekly cooks who can cover a main and/or side. If you would be available for one week (or a few!) this spring and summer, please reach out to be added to our planning meetings!

What a great day for mutual aid in Scranton! 🤝

A huge thanks to everyone who came out to the Scranton Punk Rock Flea Market featuring Dour, Leadpetal, Acid Rat!, Raynov, and Duds and bought some sweet treats. Our bake sale raised over $300 that is going directly to supporting our unhoused neighbors with tents, backpacks, hygiene items, and our Saturday meal program. ❤️

Miss out on the sticker club last month? Lost & Found Bookshop has been kind enough to host our stickers and buttons!

A few extra stickers each month will be available for purchase, and, this month, we have some leftover buttons from the Valentine Market at Pigeon Post! There are also a few informational zines explaining who we are and what we do available to take and distribute. Plus you can browse books and local makers while you’re there. 🤝

100% goes back into our food and supply budget for weekly meals and distribution of essential goods.

Code Blue is a weather alert issued during extreme cold (temperatures expected to drop below 20 degrees), triggering a plan to help vulnerable populations, especially the homeless. Emergency shelter can be found at the following locations:

What a great Saturday!
A million thank yous to everyone who made our Christmas cookie bake sale at the Scranton Punk Collective Holiday Punk Flea a huge success; to everyone who baked, tabled, and especially who bought cookies & donated! It’s gonna go really far in getting survival supplies for our neighbors.

We also had our regular Saturday hot meal outside TheVspot Bar and distributed snacks, leftover Christmas cookies, and a heavy blanket. As the winter keeps us in a deep freeze, we’re remaining committed to keeping our neighbors warm and fed as best we can.

Thank you again to everyone contributing to this effort. Our community is everything.

Come get your cookies!
We’re holding a holiday bake sale at the Holiday Punk Rock Flea Market! Lots of kinds will be available, baked by our wonderful weekly cooks. All proceeds will go towards essential survival items to be distributed weekly and on request to our unhoused neighbors - tents, hygiene items, blankets, boots, etc.

How can you help?
1. Show up and get some cookies!
2. Bake something! If you have a favorite cookie to make, bring us a batch to sell! DM for details. Any leftovers will be brought to our regular Saturday meal at 5:00 that evening.
3. Donate! We will be also be collecting contributions like hot hands, hats, gloves, new socks, travel size hygiene items & more! We’re also looking for warm blankets and XL+ winter coats. If you’re not sure about something, message us or just bring it with you for us to look at. No guarantees we can take larger items unless we know we can distribute them.

Some pics from the last few weeks. We’re really jazzed about how our Saturday meals have been going so far, and we’re so grateful for everyone’s support! Especially of course our weekly cooks and regular contributors, but also to the kind folks who have heard about us and donated or put up our flyers the last few weeks.
