Busy week here at the Scranton Solidarity Project! We fed about 50 people and 5 dogs this week and we gave out 10 tents!! Feeling amazing about it. At the same time, we also have a huge waiting list of folks who need one. We also need tarps, sleeping bags, a big backpack, and first aid kits. If you can help us out by buying directly from our wishlist, sending funds on Venmo, or even just sharing our posts and what we do, we’d be grateful! 🤗

Another beautiful day to feed our community! We had stew, corn muffins, pasta salad, dense bean salad, chips, and a cookie spread this week, along with water, soda, and the usual hygiene items.

We’ve had many requests for tents in the last two weeks that we’re urgently trying to fill, but could use your help! Venmo , monthly sticker club, and Amazon wishlist are all linked on our page! 🤝✌️

NEPA Youth Shelter graciously provided us a space to have our meal on a week we couldn’t be at our regular spot, no questions asked. They’re good people doing vital work in our community that so many of our youth depend on. If you can help them out as they gear up for the busy school year ahead, whether it’s donating a meal, snacks, or providing something from their wishlist, please do! We’re all in this together! 🤝

Another great distro day today! Fried chicken, pasta salad, coleslaw, deli sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches (thanks to our huge egg donation this week!), pasta, cookies, snacks, water, soda, hygiene items, one tent, and cigs.

We saw about 40 folks today and some new faces, and had almost no leftovers. As always, thanks to TheVspot Bar for hosting us! If you’d like to get involved, stop by every Saturday at 5! 🤝❤️

Let’s play some catchup on the socials! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our benefit show last month at TheVspot Bar! 🎶

Thanks to Ed Cuozzo, Sweetnest, and Pollen for playing great tunes all day, and to all our raffle item donors, including some last minute additions for a total of 21 baskets!

We raised over $500 that day that has gone directly to tents, hygiene supplies, and partial meal reimbursements to our wonderful cooks each week.

If you couldn’t make it or are looking for other ways to support mutual aid in your community, our linktree has links to donate directly, shop our wishlist, or join our monthly sticker club! ❤️
