One Life to Live Adoption and Rescue Inc. adopts out dogs through a network of local foster homes in the Scranton area.

If you would like to learn more about adopting a dog from us, or becoming a foster "parent" check out our about me info ! All of our rescue dogs are all in foster homes. We try to work on housetraining, socialization,
and any other issues that we come to find out a dog may have. An appointment can be made to meet our available dogs once an application is submitted and approved. Adoption fees vary depending on a number of factors but we do try to keep them reasonable.

PUPDATE! Another lucky pup from the T X 6 litter is celebrating their 3rd GOTCHA DAY, which happens to be today! Bunny (aka BAD Bunny😄), formerly Taylor Puppy, joins in the celebrations with her siblings Junebug and Kodi, who we shared earlier this week. Bunny's favorite spot during cold Winter days is in front of the warm fire! She is enjoying life in Scranton, PA with her OLTL doggie siblings, Sassy and Buddha Bear. Happy life, Miss Bunny!

PUPDATE ALERT! JUNEBUG, formerly Treasure puppy of the T X 6 litter, celebrated her 3rd Gotcha Dayon February 10th! We posted her sibling, Kodi, yesterday in honor of his Gotcha Day. Junebug's mom says: "Three years ago, I picked up this little bundle of fluff and feistiness. Here she sits on her pupperoni pizza...still the queen of all she surveys. She has brought me and my friends so much joy and laughter."
What an adorable and very lucky pup!

PUPDATE! Look who recently celebrated his 3rd GOTCHA DAY! It's Kodi, formerly Tyson puppy, of the T X 6 litter! Kodi is loving life in his furever home where he is very spoiled - just as it should be. We will have some updates about Kodi's siblings coming soon so stay tuned!

PUPDATE ALERT! Check out this wonderful Christmas update from on of our many wonderful adopters! 😍
About 10 years ago we adopted the little guy in the red sweater. His name was Harvey but he loved his new name chewy! Every year around this time I am so thankful for our tiniest boy. He is getting up there in age, lost his vision in one eye but zooms around like a puppy. He enjoys sun bathing on the back deck and on the floor where it shines in through the window and long naps on his heated blanket. Thank you so much for selecting us to rescue him. Our family would t be the same without this stubborn, sweet, funny little guy. Merry Christmas 🎄

ADORABLE AND AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!
MICAH, aka T***S, is a wonderful 14 pound, 4-year-old 100% Jack Russell Terrier. She is coming back to the rescue because her Jack Russell prey drive can't be tamed with her adoptive parent's cats. They tried working on this with her, but unfortunately it hasn't worked. T***s is wonderful in every other way. She loves going on daily walks, especially in the woods, but can also just cuddle up with you on the couch. She has a doggy brother around the same size as her and they get along great. She is not food aggressive and shares a food bowl with her brother. T***s is house and crate trained. She also really loves her bedtime belly rubs and will curl up next to you in bed and sleep all night. T***s will probably do best with a family with older kids as sometimes she will bark at little kids on walks. T***s' parents think she would do best with an active family that would take her on daily walks, the longer the better. This sweet girl is spayed and current with vaccines.
