Today was one of those “off-season but still all-in” kind of days for the crew.

A few of our members spent the day boarding up the dispatch building, officially putting a wrap on another incredible season. But we weren’t done yet…

We also assembled and put into storage our brand new fleet of Edge Rescue toboggans — and let’s just say, we’re counting the days until we can put them to work next season. These sleds are dialed in and ready.

That said… there may still be a stubborn patch of snow hanging on over on White Lightning. And yeah — we definitely thought about walking a couple of those brand new toboggans down for a “quick test run” in May. 😏

We resisted… this time.

Huge thanks to everyone who put in the work today and all season long. See you soon

Congratulations to #34 Phil Jevin and #117 Ian Starr on passing SOET at Elk today! You worked hard and it paid off! Thank you to their instructors #8 Stan and #9 John for the training!

This is the last puzzle piece Phil needed and is now a full Senior Patroller in his third year as a patroller. Great work!

🚑⛷️ Busy Weekend on the Mountain! ⛷️🚑

This past weekend was a big one for the Montage Ski Patrol! Our team stayed busy not only taking care of our guests, but also investing in training and development to keep our mountain safe.

We were proud to host a T/E Seminar with our regional S&T staff, strengthening our skills and sharpening our response capabilities. At the same time, our conditional patrollers officially earned their sign-offs after completing hands-on training in essential mountain operations — including hazard marking and control, safety procedures, and other core patrol duties.

Congratulations to our newest full patrollers on reaching this milestone! Your hard work, dedication, and commitment truly show. 💪❄️

A huge thank-you to our instructors, regional staff, and veteran patrollers who gave their time and expertise to make this weekend a success. Together, we continue to raise the bar for safety and professionalism on the mountain.

Powder days hit different ❄️🙌

Nothing but fresh turns, big smiles, and top-notch coverage on the mountain today. Our patrollers were out early enjoying the deep snow, keeping guests safe, and soaking up everything a true powder day has to offer.

Days like this are why we do it. Stay safe, ski smart, and enjoy the snow! ⛷️🏂
