During his 27 years of life, he was fortunate enough to experience tremendous things thanks to family, friends, and countless other caring individuals. After Tommy’s passing, we wanted to keep his memory alive and continue to help and inspire others like Tommy always did. Our goal is to help others the way others helped Tommy throughout his life. Thanks to your help and generosity we have been abl
e to donate more than $80,000 within our local community over the last 10 years! This money allowed Make-A-Wish to grant 10 local children their wishes. The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) has put our donations towards therapies, equipment repairs, and summer camps for individuals just like Tommy. And our gifts to the Ronald McDonald House have helped make sure that families have a comfortable place to stay while a loved one is in the hospital. Since so many people helped touch Tommy’s life over the years, our biggest goal is to find a local family that we can help. For instance, in the last few years, with your generosity, we helped Nicholas , a young man with MD, to get a computer and the special equipment he needed to use it. There is also Aubree, a 3 year old girl from Scranton, who was born with Interstitial Pulmonary Hypertension and Down Syndrome, which led to numerous medical expenses. We helped her family by paying her insurance premiums so she could get the care she needed. Quinn, a young boy from Scranton, who suffered brain damage after being born prematurely. Due to this illness he needed certain medical equipment that insurance would not cover. We provided Quinn with a standing board and feeding chair to make his daily life easier. These are just a few of the families we have been able to help thanks to you. Thank you for keeping Tommy’s memory alive.
