Meet our new ShinShin: Tamar.

Tamar grew up in Modi’in with her parents, two sisters, and brother. She attends a boarding school for gifted students in Jerusalem. She was drawn to the program after visiting Rochester as part of the Student Exchange, and because of her interest in international affairs and her desire to connect with people from different cultures. Tamar is part of the IB program and studies entirely in English. To view Tamar's full bio, visit: https://www.jewishrochester.org/shinshinim

Have you heard about Kesharim? A new innovative collaboration between the JCC, Temple Sinai, TBE and TBK. Kesharim is a Jewish Culture Club for all students in grades 3rd-8th. Our goal in creating Kesharim is to provide Rochester's Jewish students with meaningful opportunities to connect with their Jewish heritage and with one another through music, art, cooking, games, and engaging special programs.

Kesharim takes place on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30pm. Pickup between 5:30-6:00pm.

Busing is available from Brighton and Rush Henrietta schools. You will need to get your transportation form in asap.

There are four 8-week sessions throughout the year with "chugim" (activities) choices changing each session. Sign up for one session or try all of them! New Chug choices will be added throughout the year.

Temple Sinai, Temple Beth El, Temple B'rith Kodesh members and JCC Gesher After School students attend for FREE. Community members are welcome to join us for $54/8 week session or $180 for the entire year (please contact Biffy at [email protected] for this discount). Registration is required for all: https://operations.daxko.com/programs/redirector.aspx?cid=2039&pid=149809&sid=3299327
