“We are OuT Of OrDeR!!” the band says. “Our name originates from a text message between two of our band members, and we thought it would be a cool band name! Our most famous song is called ‘No Quarter’; it played on the radio (i.e., over volunteer walkie talkies).”

Meet the bands of GR!PHX 2026—today’s featured band is Vampire Junkies!

The Vampire Junkies explain their summer rock camp origin thusly:

“We are all risen from the dead in the same junk yard in ye olden days. We found that the junk around us created beautiful music. Us sinister seniors hid from the sun, as we conspired and schemed to hypnotize our young successors, to feed on their positive creative energy.”

And they offer us a word regarding their soon-to-be-released single on the 2026 GR!PHX Mixtape Album:

“Prepare to be dazzled and mesmerized, our delectable audience. Let us siphon your sweet soulful spirit.”

Like and share this post if you are dazzled by Vampire Junkies, and hear their original song “Out the Ground” at our 2026 GR!PHX Mixtape Album Listening Party on Saturday, 10/24, 1–5 PM at Cartel Roasting Co., 810 S Ash Ave in Tempe. Come prepared for our GR!PHX Halloween costume contest and karaoke!

Meet the bands of GR!PHX 2026!

Today’s featured band is Flutterfly!

Flutterfly started as 5 caterpillars on a random Monday in June. They grew into their cocoons and became beautiful butterflies. Lexy came out of the cocoon with a mic in her hand, Zoey somehow came out with a full drum kit, and Payton with a full keyboard. Daisy and CD came out with their bass and guitar, and together they formed a band that would bring love and Flutterfly power to the world!

Hear their original song “Unrequited” at our 2026 GR!PHX Mixtape Album Listening Party on 10/24! Save the date: Saturday, 10/24, 1–5 PM at Cartel Roasting Co. in Tempe!
