🐾❤️ WHY THE MOVEMENT CHANGED ❤️🐾
Many people know me as TK the HairDoc.
Others know me as a TEDx Speaker, author, survivor, advocate, and founder of the SuperHairoes Movement.
But very few understand where the movement truly came from.
Her name was Michi.
Michi wasn't "just a dog."
She was my licensed service dog, my companion through cancer, homelessness, divorce, losing everything, a near-fatal mountain bike accident, a coma, and learning to walk again.
When Michi became paralyzed, I was forced to start asking questions.
Questions nobody wanted answered.
Questions that eventually led me to write my book, give my TED Talk, build The Pet Whisperer, create The Holistic Apothecary, and expand the SuperHairoes Movement into a voice for both humans and animals.
Michi taught me unconditional love.
She taught me that those without a voice need someone willing to speak.
She taught me that healing is about more than surviving—it's about creating purpose from pain.
That's why the movement evolved.
It was never about me.
It's about every person who's been dismissed.Every animal who's been overlooked.Every family searching for answers.Every hero trying to find their way back to themselves.
Michi may be gone physically, but her legacy lives on through every life we help, every voice we amplify, and every person who chooses to become their own hero.
