Today was the first day Danielle's family got a chance to see the car we built in her memory. It was a day filled with memories, emotions, and hope. For those who do not already know, the car will be auctioned in just 5 days at Barrett-Jackson to benefit the Phoenix Children's Hospital Neuro-Oncology Research. We hope that anyone who has a chance to read this takes the time to truly appreciate the story this car tells. We would like to say thank you to anyone who has been a part of this project, even if you are just a fan on Facebook. All of the support truly makes a difference in our effort to help change the world one car at a time.
When 16-year-old Chase Harris heard that a classmate, Danielle Hudson, was diagnosed with a terminal form of brain cancer, he decided to restore a '67 Camaro in her honor. Sadly, Danielle passed away about a year ago, but today, her family and friends saw the car, which is painted her favorite color and includes a tribute to her, for the first time during an emotional unveiling. On Tuesday it will be auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson, at 6pm on lot #3000, with all proceeds benefiting brain cancer research at PCH.
