✨ Meet the remarkable Co-Chairs of the 2026 K2 Gala — Arti Short & Jodi Kaye! 🤍

Both Arti and Jodi found their way to K2 through their children, and what started as a family connection grew into a passion for K2’s mission, community and life-changing work.

Arti has served on the K2 Board for four years after first being introduced to the Foundation through her son, Colin, who has traveled to Tanzania with K2 four times. Through his experiences, Arti develop her own strong connection to K2’s mission, and to the community behind it. She loves traveling, spending time with family and friends and giving back to causes that make a meaningful difference in the life of others.

Jodi has served on the K2 Board for two years after her three daughters began volunteering with K2 through their school. This summer in Tanzania, she experienced K2’s impact firsthand at the prosthetic center at NSK Hospital, watching a life-changing prosthetic limb be created for a patient in just a matter of hours. Jodi loves being outdoors, staying active and surrounding herself with people who inspire her.

Together, they are honored to make this year’s K2 Gala an unforgettable evening of purpose, generosity and impact. 💫

We are also honored to welcome General George W. Casey, Jr., U.S. Army (Ret.), former 36th Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, as our special guest and keynote speaker.

K2 Adventures Foundation had the pleasure of joining members of VFW Post 720 for a Costco run to help fill their food pantry! 🛒📦

These supplies will be used to pack hundreds of care packages filled with food and basic necessities that will be sent to our troops overseas. 🎖️

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the VFW and the incredible work they do for our military community. ❤️🤍💙

🎨☀️ What a fun night at K2 Crafts with our friends at First Place AZ!

This month, we mixed creativity with a little summer fun by bringing together three different painting techniques we've learned over the past few months and letting everyone create their own unique masterpiece.

🎈🖌️✨ Using balloons, paint brushes, and a fun dot-painting technique, each resident designed a one-of-a-kind work of art—and the results were incredible!

It was the perfect way to beat the Arizona heat, spend time together, and let everyone's creativity shine. 💛 The residents had an absolute blast, and we loved seeing each person's personality come to life on canvas.

Thank you to Simple Bliss Designs & everyone who joined us for another unforgettable K2 Crafts night. We can't wait to see what we'll create together next! 🎨💙

🇺🇸❤️ Happy Fourth of July from Team K2 in Tanzania! 🌍

Today, we’re celebrating freedom from across the world, and we’re especially grateful to have part of our Valor Initiative family here in Tanzania experiencing our global programs firsthand. From visiting our partners and witnessing lives being changed through prosthetic care to cheering on one of our veterans as they reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, this trip has been unforgettable. 🦿⛰️

To all of the brave men and women who have served our country—thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and dedication. Your service makes days like today possible, and we are forever grateful. ❤️🤍💙

🇺🇸✨ Another full house at K2 Crafts last night at in collaboration with !

We had 14 participants join us, including one new friend attending for the very first time. 😊 This was the longest and most detailed craft project we’ve tackled yet—and everyone did an amazing job!

Using strips of fabric and cooling racks, participants carefully wove together festive hanging flags just in time for the Fourth of July. ❤️🤍💙

Every woven flag was unique—just like the individuals who created them. It was wonderful to see the creativity, focus, and pride that went into every project.

We love creating opportunities for connection, creativity, and community, and last night was a perfect example of all three. ✨
