🍩🧠 National Donut Day: Counselor Check-In 🧠🍩

Let's be honest... if counselors were donuts, we'd probably spend a few minutes exploring the deeper meaning behind our choice. 😄

So here's today's question:

What’s your favorite donut, and what does it say about your counseling style?

🍩 Glazed: Reliable, approachable, and effective.
🍫 Chocolate Frosted: Warm, comforting, and always ready to support.
🌈 Sprinkles: Creative, energetic, and focused on strengths.
🍓 Jelly-Filled: Curious about what's beneath the surface.
🍁 Maple Bar: Grounded, practical, and full of wisdom.

Or maybe your favorite donut doesn't fit neatly into a category—and that's perfectly okay too!

Drop your favorite donut in the comments and tell us why. Bonus points if you can connect it to your counseling approach. We can't wait to see what Arizona's counseling community comes up with!

Happy National Donut Day from the Arizona Counselors Association! 🍩✨

Insurers have been aggressively pursuing clawbacks, reimbursement reductions, downcoding, and other “cost-saving” approaches.

ACA is urgently gathering personal stories from counselors impacted by these insurance challenges. Your story could assist us in our meetings with lawmakers, strengthen our advocacy efforts, and show the real-life consequences of these harmful practices.

Together, we can make a powerful case for greater insurance regulation and the prioritization of accessible mental healthcare.
