1st Fall meeting - Sep 5 – presents Paula Sherman, docent at the Musical Instrument Museum, MIM.

Founded in 2011, and privately funded by Robert Ulrich, former CEO of Target, the museum is unique in the world because it is global, representing 200 countries, and also due to the cutting edge technology of the guide ports that synchronize with the videos in the exhibits. MIM has a theater seating 299, offices, preservation lab, cafe/restaurant, event rooms, and school education rooms.
Aside from sports events, MIM is the # 1 tourist attraction in Phoenix.

Paula Sherman has been associated with Musical Instrument Museum since 2012. She has been a docent for the past five years, and is also a gallery guide, information desk guide, mentor, and player of the mechanical music gallery Orchestrion the largest instrument in the Museum.

Our monthly meetings are held at the Scottsdale Senior Center, 1700 N. Granite Reef Road, (just north of McDowell). The meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month, September thru May, except for December – our Holiday Luncheon. Our social hour begins at 1:00 pm, club business is conducted at 1:45 pm, the presentation starts at 2:00 pm and adjournment is at 3:00 pm.
