Two very sweet male rats, handled daily with no history of aggression. They will be about a year old in July, and have been together since birth, so they would preferably need to stay together as they are bonded. Since I’ve had them, they have never spent any time with other rats, but with the right training and patience, I believe that they would thrive with others, as long as they aren’t overcrowded. Jack (the black and white) is more curious and playful, while Gus (grey) is more chill and would be more prone to be a snuggler. I would be able to provide two cages, one that I use for their “living” cage (approximately 39 x 22 x 18 inches) and one which is much larger that I use as their “play” cage (approximately 43 x 29 x 56 inches). The play cage has flat flooring and can’t hold bedding, so I feel it’s not suitable as an everyday cage. I also can provide many toys/equipment including a wheel, hammocks, shelters, play pen balls, tunnels, hanging bridges, water dispensers, food bowls, very large pop up play pen, and any food and bedding that I have leftover.
