The Arizona History Convention is an annual convention that welcomes avocational and professional historians to explore Arizona's rich and colorful past through papers, posters, and round table discussions.

Great new preservation project by the Arizona Historical Society.

The Arizona State Parks & Trails Board approved the 2025/2026 State Parks Heritage Fund grants at their March 19, 2026 Board meeting. Arizona Historical Society was awarded a $60,000 Arizona State Parks Heritage Fund grant in the Historic Preservation category for the Arizona Historical Society Papago Park POW Structure Project- Phase 1 which will include the planning to preserve two surviving World War II prisoner-of-war structures from Camp Papago — a 1943 POW camp in Phoenix — with a long-term vision to create a museum exhibit at the Arizona Heritage Center in Tempe.
