Paw Placement Animal Rescue Paw Placement Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill organization based in Scottsdale, Ariz. On average we rescue 600 animals per year.

Paw Placement conducts adoptions through one PETsMART adoption center. Over the past ten years of operation, we have adopted over 8,000 homeless cats and dogs into loving homes. All animals adopted through Paw Placement are spayed/neutered. Standard care provided for felines includes FeLV/FIV testing, annual vaccinations (boosters for kittens), rabies inoculations and microchip. Standard care provided for canines includes annual vaccinations (boosters for puppies), rabies inoculations and microchip. Paw Placement defines itself as “no-kill,” and provides any necessary veterinary care, over and above the standard care, when it is needed and where quality of life is not an issue. We have approximately 190 active volunteers. The organization houses its cats in a PETsMART 7 day adoption center and in a network of foster homes. Paw Placement houses its dogs in a network of foster homes, as well, where volunteers offer loving structure and training to increase adoptability. We screen all potential adopters through an adoption questionnaire and conduct home visits to insure that animals are going into a nurturing environment.

Merci is an extraordinary kitten with a heart far bigger than her size. Before coming to our rescue, she spent her days as a quiet guardian and gentle companion to a gentleman in his final moments, bringing him peace, love, and comfort before he passed away. Though her journey started with a poignant chapter, Merci’s capacity for love is endless. She has an innate ability to sense when someone needs a little extra warmth—whether that means curling up quietly beside you or offering soft, reassuring purrs. Merci is now ready for her forever home, where she can share her incredible gift of comfort and devotion with a family of her own. Apply at www.pawplacement.org to meet

Hello, I've become quite the favorite for my sweet and cuddly nature. I love spending time with my human friends, showing them just how friendly and gentle I can be. Being brave and loyal, I’m always here to offer a comforting purr or a warm lap to snuggle on. I'm also quite mellow, enjoying quiet times just as much as playful moments.
