🏁 Sack Race Showdown at Lehi Branch! 🏁

Who knew hopping could be such serious business? 😆 Our Club kids put their speed, balance, and determination to the test during today's sack races, and let's just say there were plenty of laughs, a few dramatic wipeouts, and lots of finish-line celebrations!

Whether they crossed the line first or bounced their way there eventually, every participant brought their A-game and made it a race to remember.

🍕 Barker Branch Teens put their chef hats on for Cooking Club and whipped up some delicious homemade pizzas!

From choosing toppings to perfecting their creations, our teens got hands-on in the kitchen while learning valuable cooking skills, teamwork, and a little food science along the way. The results? Plenty of smiles and some seriously tasty pizza. 😋

At Summer Camp, we're serving up more than just great food. We're helping young people build confidence, creativity, and life skills that will last long after the last slice is gone.

Vestar Teens had a top golf field trip on Friday and had 40 teens. They got lunch and learned how to swing from some of the top golf staff.

⛳️ Swinging into summer the right way!
On Friday, 40 teens from the Vestar Branch headed to Topgolf for an afternoon of fun, food, and friendly competition. Teens enjoyed lunch and even received instruction from Topgolf staff, learning tips and techniques to improve their swing.

From first-timers to future golf pros, everyone had a great time taking a shot at something new and making memories together.

🎨 Thank You Thursday: Rena! 🎨

As we continue our summer Thank You Thursday series, this week we're celebrating our incredible Art Coordinator, Rena!

Rena has done so much to make the arts shine across Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. From leading our organization-wide Art Show to guiding her students in creating the amazing backdrop for our Club Casino event, her creativity can be seen in some of our most memorable moments.

As her supervisor shared:
"Rena has been a cornerstone of the Vestar Branch’s Art Program and has been a tremendous asset to our entire organization Arts Program. Her creativity, dedication, and commitment to providing meaningful arts experiences for our youth have left a lasting impact on countless Club members and their families."

Thank you, Rena, for inspiring creativity, encouraging self-expression, and helping our youth discover their artistic talents every day. Your impact reaches far beyond the canvas, and we are grateful for all that you do! 💙

⚔️ Hear ye, hear ye! ⚔️

Our Thunderbirds Branch traveled back in time for an unforgettable adventure at Medieval Times! Club members cheered for brave knights, watched epic sword fights, enjoyed a royal feast, and experienced all the excitement of the kingdom.

From thunderous horses to heroic battles, it was a day filled with fun, laughter, and memories fit for royalty. 👑

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this incredible experience possible. Our Club kids had a knight to remember! 🏰

Graduation may have come and gone, but we're not done celebrating these amazing seniors just yet! 🎓✨

Caps flew, tassels turned, and our hearts grew three sizes.

We had an amazing time celebrating graduation and cheering on our Vestar Branch seniors as they crossed the stage wearing their Boys & Girls Clubs of Scottsdale graduation sashes with pride.

We are so proud of everything these seniors have accomplished and can't wait to see where their next chapter takes them. Congratulations, Class of 2026!

The Hartley & Ruth Barker Branch and Lehi Branch had an amazing adventure at Phoenix Fan Fusion 2026 this weekend!

Our Club kids answered the Bat-Signal and crossed paths with Batman, survived a royal encounter with Lord Farquaad (fortunately, nobody got sent to live in a swamp), and came face-to-face with a giant Eevee (the best Pokemon, be so serious right now).

As if that wasn't enough, they even received a special message from the Hidden Leaf Village's favorite ninja leader, Naruto. Believe it! 🍥

From superheroes to fairy tale villains to Pokémon and ninjas, the day was packed with larger-than-life characters, and enough fandom fun that felt like it deserves a sequel (an actual good one, not like Batman & Robin 1997) .

Our Mary Ellen & Robert McKee Branch challenged the Fountain Hills Fire Department to a dodgeball showdown, and after plenty of dodging, diving, and laughing, the firefighters claimed the Champions Trophy! 🏆

We also crowned an MVP from each team for their standout performance.

Thanks to Fountain Hills Fire Department for bringing the heat. We'll be ready for the rematch! 💪
