The Sons of Arizona was founded in June of 2011 by a group of 10 Scottsdale and Phoenix locals for the benefit of the Children in our local communities. Our mission became very clear within moments of the first meeting. We decided to lend a helping hand and give back to the community where the members have grown up themselves. Our efforts are focused on inspiring local children, handing up to the
local school systems, charities, non for profit organizations and individual kids who just need a little boost to get them where they need to be! The members of Sons of Arizona is comprised of 10 local business owners, teachers and executives starting with the President Grant MacKenzie, Jake Flesner, Jacob Chapman, Brendon Sarracino, Jason Blechmann, Ryan Kohnke, Travis Chapman and Mark Colletti. The President Grant MacKenzie locally born and raised in the Scottsdale-Phoenix area has focused the past 12 years of his life on Real Estate in Rocky Point and Scottsdale Arizona. As one of the owners of the Remax Legacy office in Rocky Point he was very active in a community where helping the locals became a part of everyday life. Matt Blanton, the Treasurer of Sons of Arizona and the owner of Printing Solutions in north Scottsdale was raised in Arizona and has spent the majority of his life here. As a member of the community he has found himself seeking as many possible ways to inspire those around him as he can. Matt is also very active as a member of Cross Fit Scottsdale participating in all the local, regional and national events. Joshua Glennie, a local Scottsdale contractor is usually the first person on site when it comes to putting a foot forward for the community. Josh had been in the mortgage industry for quite some time when he found greater fulfillment out of working with his hands and completing beautiful remodels for his select clients. Jake Flesner, raised in North Phoenix is a Graphics Arts teacher at a local high school. Jake grew up in the same north Phoenix neighborhood he now teaches in. Being a teacher he sees the untapped talent in our schools that could just use a little bit more inspiration from local community members. He is now volunteering his time outside of teaching with Sons of Arizona in an effort to make a difference in any way he can. Jake can be reached at [email protected]
Jacob Chapman a local resident of Scottsdale is also a local real estate executive with Desert North Realty. Jacob focuses most of his time here in Phoenix buying and selling homes with his investment group. Jacob jumps at any opportunity to play a round of golf for charity. Brendon Sarracino, raised in Southern California came to Arizona to attend college and just couldn't bring himself to going back to Cali. Brendon the owner of Arizona Pure Custom; builds custom homes all over the valley. Brendon's passion for construction makes him one of the most successful custom home builders here in Scottsdale. Jason Blechmann, the owner of Precision Properties grew up here in Scottsdale transplanted at a very young age from Illinois. Attending most of grade school, high school and college in Arizona it’s his time to give back. Growing up in a household with a stockbroker father and a school teacher mother, Jason has seen first-hand what giving a little back to the community it takes to make a huge difference. Ryan Kohnke, the owner of ITS Infinity Trading also transplanted here at a very young age, has live here almost his entire life. Ryan attended grade school, high school, and college here in Arizona. Mark Colletti, the Secretary of the Sons of Arizona is an Arizona Native. His career is found as a Project Manager and Marketing Manager for ITS Infinity Trading. Spending his entire life in Arizona and most of it right here in Phoenix he found it was time to focus his energy on his family, career and giving back. The opportunity to be a founding member of Sons of Arizona was the answer.
