Dear Community
Last night’s Yom HaZikaron ceremony was a powerful and deeply meaningful moment for our community. We came together to remember, to honor, and to stand united in reflection and respect.
A heartfelt thank you to Shevet Shemesh for leading and organizing this important event, under the dedicated leadership of Liat Ashkenazi, Ayelet Shina Wandrove, Aviv Melman (Merakez), Enav Drori, Yana Ayash, Carmit Levi, Sharone Cohen, and Ayal Gabai (Rosh Shevet). Your commitment, care, and attention to every detail made this ceremony truly special.
We are deeply grateful to Congregation Beth Israel of AZ for hosting us in your beautiful facility, for your generosity, and for being so accommodating to all of our needs throughout the evening.
Special thanks as well to our partners and supporting organizations: Center for Jewish Philanthropy of Greater Phoenix, Congregation Beth Tefillah, Jewish National Fund - USA, Valley of The Sun J & Event Smart Productions. Your support helps make moments like this possible.
A sincere appreciation to all of our performers who gave their time, voice, and heart to the evening: Shevet Shemesh, Sharone Cohen, Rabbi Pinchas Alush, Dan & Yonathan Ayash, Menny & Ben Melman, Itay Ashkenazi, Julia and Emily Pertovsky, Liran Kovlov, Shlomo Vininger, Rotem Malka, Israel Alush, Kantor Noa and Shai Shashua, Gaya Glogao, Erez Kesler, Rabbi Shneor, Anat Shaw, and Moshe Bukshpein.
And most importantly, thank you to our community. Your presence, your silence, your tears, and your strength made this ceremony what it was. We are grateful to have shared this space with you.
