I just started listening to Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck on my run Thursday. In the beginning of the book when Tom Joad gets out of prison, he is headed home and finds a box turtle that he takes along with him. Shortly after hearing that part of the story as I ran a long a trail I saw a box turtle crossing the trail. It was a very serendipitous and made me smile as I'd not seen a box turtle in over 20 years. Have you ever had something like that happen to you?
