Thank you Elks Lodge #2148 PER Association for taking on this project! It was great to have Partners for Paiute Board members: Raoul Zubia, Ashley Adams, Devin Haggerty and Rosemary Gannon join the team and make quick work of cleaning out that space! On to phase 2 of the project!

Every act of kindness has the power to change a life.

Recently, Paiute Neighborhood Center was able to provide an emergency assistance grant to help a community member replace a phone after being without one for several months.

For many of us, a phone is something we take for granted. But for this individual, it meant reconnecting with healthcare providers, scheduling medical appointments, arranging transportation to physical therapy and other essential care, and staying in touch with family across the country.

The recipient shared, “This feels like a ton of weight lifted off my shoulders.”

This is exactly why our Emergency Assistance Program exists—to remove barriers, reduce stress, and help our neighbors maintain access to the resources and support they need during difficult times.

Thank you to our donors, partners, and supporters who make stories like this possible. Your generosity creates real, lasting impact in our community.

We're happy to share this note of thanks from a mom and her 2 children that Partners for Paiute was able to help with her APS bill.

To Partners for Paiute:

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the support and assistance you provided during a time of significant financial hardship in my life. It is difficult to fully put into words what your generosity and compassion have meant to me, but I want you to know that your help made a real and lasting difference.

During a period when I felt overwhelmed and uncertain about how I would move forward, your organization stepped in with kindness, understanding, and tangible support. Because of you, I was able to regain a sense of stability and hope. What may have been routine work for your team was truly life-changing for me.

Beyond the financial assistance, what impacted me most was the care and dignity with which I was treated. Your willingness to listen and help without judgment reminded me that there are people and organizations who genuinely care about others in their most difficult moments.

Please extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, those who made decisions, those who worked behind the scenes, and those who directly supported me. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and they have left a lasting impression on my life.

I am incredibly grateful and will carry this experience with me as a reminder of the power of compassion and community. Thank you again for everything you have done.

With sincere appreciation,

E. B.
