The M Foundation Dedicated to the Mangalarga Marchador breed. We try to help horses and owners in need. We raise money for this effort on our website and at events.

We solicit ideas, projects and charities that involve the Mangalarga Marchador horse or the people who own them and help them fund their efforts, dreams and goals. You can donate to the causes that you personally want to fund. We will hold fundraisers. We encourage every Mangalarga Marchador owner and breeder to consider donations of products from their ranch for the good of the MM breed.

A Summerwind horse came back to us in August needing recovery and TLC. Life change for the owner who felt it was best for the horse after she could not find proper care for him while she was away. She saved him the first time and cared for him for many many years. Some past injuries and severe weight loss from last winter in Canada. But on his way back already having been nursed for many months or he wouldn’t have made the trip. He seems to remember the ranch where he grew up.

We are not active unless we hear of a MM owner or a Marchador horse that needs help. It must be a purebred and proven Mangalarga Marchador. We do that from DNA proof from the USMMA and UC DAVIS. Texas A&M identifies "likely" breeds that contributed to your horses heritage.

We are dedicated to Mangalarga Marchador horses and owners, but here is a horse that needs a new home. Are you interested? The ad says he will be euthanized if they do not sell. So, we are getting involved. Also from Brazil, the Mangalarga breed is VERY related to the Mangalarga Marchador. This breed is not so focused on gait, but some individuals can be very comfortable to ride.
