💫 Excited for Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) ICON Conference to begin!

Association of Fundraising Professionals-Greater Arizona Chapter Catherine Sebesta, CFRE will be attending the Chapter Leadership session today for insights and ideas from organizations around the world.

President-elect Kelsey Wolf-Donnay, CFRE, Conference Chair Tatumn Zale, CFRE, IDEA Chair Tenneille Choi and Foundation Development Chair Justin Duran, CFRE will be attending.

🗓️ Sunday night, our chapter is hosting a community gathering for members of all three Arizona Chapters: Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) : Southern Arizona Chapter and AFP Northern Arizona - Association of Fundraising Professionals.

⭐️ We will celebrate an incredible accomplishment with two members of the AFP Greater Arizona Chapter receiving the 2026 awards: Torrie Taj, CFRE Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the Year, and Tatumn Zale, CFRE, 2026 Outstanding Young Professional of the Year.

Donor-advised funds (DAFs) are rapidly becoming one of the most popular and impactful giving strategies in the United States. The number of individuals establishing DAFs, as well as the total value of assets held in these funds, has seen explosive growth in recent years. Despite this surge in popularity, many professional fundraisers remain uncertain about how DAFs operate and how their organizations can benefit from them.
