Our caring Volunteers and Patient Service Directors visit hundreds of children from age 2-17 annually. We take pampering right to their bedside and other locations throughout the hospital in hopes of building self esteem and embracing hope. Each child is left with a smile and a feeling of love after a play time from an uplifting visit. Gifts given include an adorable stuffed toy, a little girl’s p

ampering nail polish, puzzles, books, cars, coloring books and crayons, hair brush and special “mirror”. Each child receives a gender/age specific bag, and our signature AAUK Baseball cap and T-shirt. All About Us Kids embraces the child, with hope that they forget their illness for a little while. AAUK offers an emotional arm to the caretaker by the child’s side. Each year hundreds of “caretakers” receive a complimentary facial, a gift of botanical skin care products, and a time outside the child’s room for a little rest and relaxation.
