Light the Way Ministry Haiti

We are a Christian nonprofit working in rural Haiti being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Light The Way Ministry is a Christian nonprofit ministry registered in Colorado and working specifically in Anse au Veau, Haiti. Our ministry works with the youth teaching them the gospel of Jesus Christ, equipping them for godly and productive lives. We involve the youth in many community projects to be a light of hope and love. One of the youths favorite projects is the prison fellowship program

with the small local prison. The youth visit the prison donating much needed toiletries and medicines to the prisoners along with singing to them and prayer. We also support the local community in various areas of physical needs such as food, clothing, medical, and schooling while encouraging growth in their faith and relationship with Christ Jesus. Our main focus is with the youth in Anse au Veau, but our arms are open to everyone in need. Light The Way Ministry receives funding through contributions made by foundations, businesses, local churches, and individuals. The support, compassion, and generosity of these donors has allowed Light The Way Ministry to minister to many. Giving hope to consider new possibilities, becoming proud of who they are, and most importantly, being confident in who Christ created them to be. Light The Way Ministry is a nonprofit organization founded in Castle Rock, CO and now based in Scottsdale, AZ. Founded in January, 2012 by Kim Butorac Good

Hello Friends - Our ministry in Haiti needs your help. Our current vehicle our pastor uses is not working great and we need a new one for him to travel safely around. OUR PRISON MINISTRY WORK
The small local prison in our village houses about 250 inmates. There has been a constant struggle for water and food since the gangs have taken over the country. We support them with meals and medicines as we can but it is expensive. To make one meal for all the prisoners' is around $3.00 pp x 250 inmates = $750.00. The need is still very great. Thank you to everyone who is reaching out to us with concern for our ministry in Haiti. It is so horrific what is happening there. So far everyone with our ministry is safe but a few are in Port au Prince so we ask for your prayers for provisions and safety in such a time as this! We have a "mighty" God who can do anything so we continue to lift up Haiti in prayer for help, peace and change.

Please join us in continuing to pray for Haiti. It is so heartbreaking to watch the news and see such political unrest. The Lord keeps working in and thru our ministry so we continue to pray for peace in such a broken country. We know with God all things are possible. Thank you!!!

Christian youth ministry working in rural Haiti, specifically the town of Anse au Veau.

It is with "much excitement" that Music of the Heart ministry is announcing a new name!!! In 2017, the Lord called the ministry to a new village, to start a new chapter, with a new youth ministry program. It would no longer involve music.... but instead being the eyes and feet for Jesus and working with youth to teach them about Jesus and the Word of God! In 2020, the Lord spoke again and said, change the name! So we are pleased to unveil the new ministry name as of February 2021 as "LIGHT THE WAY MINISTRY".

There have been so many new and exciting things happening since 2017! Follow us on Facebook! See what the Lord is doing thru and with this ministry! 🙏🙌

After many years of prayer for a church service on our ministry land, yesterday it happened. It may seem small...but we know it is just the beginning. Thank you Lord!!! ❤🙌What a glorious day and gift of answered prayer! We love you!!!
