Chateau De Vie Six is a townhouse community in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was the sixth and final unit of the mulit-phased Chateau De Vie townhomes originally developed by Hallcraft Homes along Granite Reef Road starting in 1969. After Hallcraft encountered financial difficulties in the mid 1970s, VH Development took over the project and built the last phase in 1978. The Historic Homes of Hercules is a development of Victorian homes in Hercules, California. The homes were originally built in the late 1890s and early 1900s as company housing for workers at the California Powder Works Company in Hercules. The plant closed in 1977, and in 1984 the homes were restored and moved together into a cohesive neighborhood where they remain to this day. La Cuesta is a development in Scottsdale, Arizona built by Continental Homes between 1978 and 1980. At the time, Continental was becoming one of Arizona’s largest homebuilders, and ultimately gained that status in the 1980s. The models at La Cuesta were first introduced at the Laguna Shores neighborhood in Mesa. A 1978 brochure with floorplans can be downloaded at www.planattic.org/lacuesta.

Bent Tree/Preston Hills is a development in Scottsdale, Arizona. The first phase was built by Wood Bros. Homes between 1979 and 1982 in Ranch and Spanish styles. Coventry Homes took over in 1982 and built the remaining homes, featuring a mix of Victorian, English Tudor-, and Spanish-influenced designs. Coventry marketed the community as “Preston Hills” but was recorded as Bent Tree. These plans are from Coventry Homes phase. Villas East is a townhome neighborhood in Phoenix, Arizona. The first phases were developed by Hallcraft Homes starting in 1971. In 1973 the new phase of the development was renamed “Casitas Royale.” The last phases were built by Hallcraft/Nu-West starting in 1979.
