Safe Haven for Animals 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill shelter in Arizona Annually, Safe Haven is able to find homes for an average of 100 animals.

Today, Safe Haven for Animals operates a cage-less, no-kill shelter located in Scottsdale, Arizona, providing care for approximately 50 cats at any given time, with the population increasing significantly during kitten season. Our primary objective is to place every companion animal in a loving, safe home. The animals received at Safe Haven's shelter which are not adopted will always have food, shelter, veterinary care, love and a safe place to live out their lives.

🎉 ADOPTED! S.T. & Panther Boy have found their forever home! 🏡🤍🖤🐾

S.T., our beautiful all-white girl, and Panther Boy, her handsome all-black bestie, came to us as a bonded pair and quickly became two of the friendliest faces at the shelter. 🥰

With their room right near the entrance, this sweet duo happily took on the role of official greeter cats, always ready to welcome visitors and make new friends. 🐱💕 It didn’t take long for these two to charm everyone they met!

Now, S.T. and Panther Boy are off together on their next adventure, settling into their new life with their new family. We couldn’t be happier to see this wonderful pair head home side by side. 🏡✨

Happy tails, S.T. & Panther Boy! We hope your new life is filled with cozy naps, lots of love, and plenty of adventures together. 🤍🖤🐾🎉

🐈‍⬛🖤 It’s Black Cat Appreciation Day, and 13-year-old Lily is celebrating exactly how you’d expect: cozied up in her basket, soaking in the peaceful vibes and looking absolutely adorable while doing it. 🧺✨

Lily is the perfect mix of calm companion and cheerful little social butterfly. 😻 She’s perfectly content relaxing in her space, but the moment a friend stops by, she’s ready to say hello and collect all the chin scratches, pets and attention she deserves. 🥰🐾

At 13 years young, Lily already knows what she likes: a comfy spot to lounge, good company and plenty of love. Senior cats like Lily can make such wonderful companions, bringing a gentle, settled kind of joy into a home while still having so much personality and affection to share. 💕🏡

This Black Cat Appreciation Day, we think this sweet little house panther deserves some extra appreciation. 🐈‍⬛✨ And maybe, just maybe, a family to spend her golden years with. 🖤

🐾 Little Nieve started out abandoned in the desert, sick and in pain. 💔🌵 But with the support of Phoenix Animal Care Coalition (PACC911) , she was rescued and brought to Safe Haven for Animals for her long recovery journey. ❤️‍🩹🏡 Look at her now! Living the life she was meant to have. 🐱✨ Bravo! 🎉💕

🎉🧡 BAXTER HAS BEEN ADOPTED! 🐈🏡✨

From showing up at our door to finding a family of his own! 🐾💕

One evening, fluffy orange Baxter appeared outside our shelter looking for a meal and a safe place to land. 🐈🥹 We welcomed him inside, and Baxter wasted absolutely no time getting comfortable! He quickly settled into his room, made friends, and discovered that indoor cat life was pretty great. 😻🧡

And then came the sweetest plot twist! One of our wonderful volunteers fell for this friendly fluffball and adopted him! 🎉🐾 Now Baxter is settling into his new family and living his best spoiled indoor kitty life. 🥰🏡🐈

🕊️💙 It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our sweet Hunter.

Hunter came to us after being abandoned at an estimated 15 to 18 years old. Although we were only fortunate enough to spend one year with him, it was a year filled with love, comfort, gentle care, and plenty of his favorite treats. 🐈🤍

Every cat deserves to know kindness, safety, and the feeling of being loved, and we're so grateful Hunter experienced all of those things in his final chapter. He will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we know so many others will remember him just as fondly.

Run free, sweet Hunter. You were deeply loved, and you will be dearly missed. 🌈🐾💙
