Update on the Wheels For Waylen 2006 CVO Electra Glide won by Kody Thomas last night at Ride For A Cure Inspired By Wendy Nasby final event. Kody has a friend who’s wife passed away two months ago from pancreatic cancer and the thought of her was the reason of buying tickets. In two months he is going to load it on a trailer along with his other bike and drive it to Texas and give it to his friend, the only payment is that his friend has to go on a ride with him. Truly an amazing gesture for a friend, though it hardly replaces the loss of his life partner but maybe it can help with the sort of memories to allow more time with her. Though many people bought a chances and spent a lot of money, I can’t help but think the bike is going to end up where it was meant to be. So you can keep your head up, there are truly more amazing people in this world than we may be aware of.

Today is the day we give away the 2006 Electra Glide CVO custom paint by Josh LaFountain at the Ride For A Cure final event. We will stop ticket sales at 8:00 PM and draw the winner. Good luck to everyone who purchased a ticket/tickets. We still have a few left if you still need one or if you feel you need another, you still have a few hours.

Well, ride day is almost here. Got the feeling of a very big year. Auction items seem to be better than ever, events are bringing in good money and Wheels For Waylen, I believe is giving away the best bike to this point. My goal every year to to cause Missy and Steve to have to pick another person. Every year I pray the same prayer, father God, I will give the effort and you bless it how you see fit and I will deal with whatever the results are. Done a lot of traveling this year, set in extreme heat for hours at several locations but wouldn’t have changed a thing. The countless hours, heat, fatigue and the travel is a drop in the bucket when compared to those we are riding for and what they are dealing with. I pray blessings on tomorrow’s ride, auction, band and those preparing the food and especially those we are riding for, so get ready folks, it’s going to be an amazing day and a true blessing to be a part of it. If you’ve never seen a miracle, my guess is you can witness on tomorrow at the Ride For A Cure Inspired By Wendy Nasby final event. See you there.
