Happy New Year 🎆🎊🎈

Just an update: looking ahead, next years gift wrap fundraiser for the nursing homes in Jackson County, we will still do the toy and coat drive starting in Oct, 2026-Dec 1st 2026 for people in general. We will begin signups for gift wrap, volunteers, November 1st-December 23rd. Updates on sign up genius will be available then as well. We ask if you sign up to volunteer then cancel or no show to please contact Cynthia Congo so she can get someone to replace you. Also times to be open will be Thursday-Sunday from 10a-9p. We have some more changes hopefully soon to make it better and bigger for next year! Stay tuned and be safe!

This years first Gift Wrap Fundraiser was successful. Started out slow with very little business, not continuous volunteers or customers with gifts yet donations were made and those that did contribute their time and gifts to be wrapped therefore we did gain! The goal was $1000, and $800 was received! We will try again with supplies we have for 2026, and maybe change the times for gift wrap and volunteer time as well other changes that will update in time. We will focus more on a Thursday-Saturday with 3 wks in advance to Christmas. Thank you for making time for this event and sponsorship each of your efforts. Monies will be distributed to these facilities by or before January 9th. Thank you and have a Happy New Year! Operation Jingle Wrap is still going on when there is volunteers showing up to wrap your presents! All you gotta do is go by there, signs are up to show you where! If your not sure look up Waterfront International Properties off South Broad Street! All funds go twds 3 nursing homes in Jackson County, AL to help the residents with what they need for Christmas! They deserve the best of the best! We owe it to them! Tonite a family dropped off several items to get wrapped, my sister will be volunteering 12/12, 2-6, I plan to be there, 12/13 10a-1p, 3p-6p, 12/14 1p-4p, 12/16 6p-9p, 12/17 6p-9p, 12/18 6p-9p, 12/20 10a-1p, 3p-5p, 12/21 1p-4p, 12/23 5p-9p, 12/24 11a-2p! Just watch for the times volunteers are present! Drop your gifts off, or go wait till they are finished. Enjoy the spirit of Christmas by helping those who are so deserving. Merry Christmas!

Thankful for 2 families wrapped gifts for yesterday and today a business donated $500! Any donations you may want to give please make out to Waterfront Properties and or the Highlands Foundation! Tomorrow 12/1, a group from Cloverdale will be volunteering their time from 2p-6p, wrapping gifts! Come show your support! Bring your presents to get wrapped!
