🍀Jackson 4-H Day Camp Schedule is Live! We have some exciting and fun events planned this summer for students that are 9-18 years old. Please fill out the signup sheets and return them to our office.

🍀Please note that some of these camps have limited spots available and are first come first serve!!!!

Graduating from a high school, trade school, community college or university marks a rite of passage into a new level of adulthood. Many graduates face major financial decisions for the first time, from student loans and credit cards to savings and retirement accounts.

Russell Lowe, a financial management agent with Alabama Extension at Auburn University, said developing strong money habits early can have long-term benefits. To help establish a good financial foundation, Lowe shared the following tips for graduates as they move from school into adulthood and the workforce.

🧵🪡The Sewing Circle Series is Back!🪡🧵

All classes will take place at the Jackson County Extension Office and are open to 4-Hers that are 9-18 years old.

The cost is $20 a student and can be paid by check or money order to the Alabama 4-H Foundation.

Spots are limited to 12 students this year! All registration is due June 23rd!

🍀WHAT A MONTH FOR 4-H🍀

Firstly, we would like to thank all of the support staff, teachers, parents, and students that have made 4-H in Jackson County great this year! 👏

We have been busy bees this month and so many great events have taken place this month! We started May off with a County Roundup that was out of this word, next was a very successful pig squeal in which 7 students completed the project, and had some great kiddos present at the Northeast 4-H Regional Congress where several students took home medals and are advancing to STATE!!! If you see someone you recognize in the pictures please let them know how proud you are of their accomplishments this year!

County Roundup is this Friday! Registration starts at 9:00 am at the Scottsboro VFW Fairgrounds. Jackson County 4-H is Out of This World!

🍀Jackson County 4-H County Roundup is Scheduled for Friday May 1st, from 9am to 1 pm at the Jackson County VFW Post 6073 Fairgrounds in Scottsboro.

Registration is live! All registration forms are due no later than April 17th. We are so excited to see you there!🍀
