Thank you to the chapter volunteers, our banquet sponsors, Jim Reinhardt, Panhandle Shriners, NGPC, and many more! We had another great youth mentored hunt with 10 kids from across the panhandle! We were excited to have Game Warden Brandon Wallace, Regional PF Rep. Nick Mizera and PF Biologist Mike Klosterman help with the event this year!

Our youth mentored hunt is coming up the first Saturday of October the 4th, here is a hunter education class at the Scottsbluff County Fairgrounds starting TODAY! Kids can still get registered!

When you attend our banquets, this is how we spend some of the money!!

Another great year partnering with the Ducks Unlimited chapter to host a Youth Clay Shooting Event. We’ll be back again next year if you missed out!

Over 20 youth from the panhandle of Nebraska came out to participate in a free event, given the opportunity to shoot at 25 clays with shells provided, and to be drawn for prizes such as a Lifetime Hunt Permit, Lifetime Waterfowl Stamp, a CZ 20 gauge, pick of the board gun, hunting gear and more.

Our chapters want to provide the opportunity for youth to gain experience handling their hunting shotguns, boost confidence and have a fun afternoon! We want to give our partners and sponsors a huge thank you! The Mitchell Trap Club, Panhandle Shrine Club - Baltes Trust, and Pioneer Rifle.

Ducks Unlimited & Pheasants Forever are hosting a FREE Youth Clay Shooting Event, Sunday September 7th at the Mitchell Trap Club. Youth 8-15 yrs old are invited!

Our goal is to give shooters the opportunity to get more experience with their hunting shotguns. Lunch and 20 or 12 gauge shells are provided. Shooters will be entered into a raffle to win prizes such as a shotgun, lifetime hunt permit, lifetime waterfowl stamp, hunting gear and more! Out of state shooters are welcome, however will not be eligible to win the shotgun, permit or stamp.

Hi everyone,

This is a reminder that our monthly PF chapter meeting will be this Thursday, August 7th at 5:30 PM at the Dietrich Distributing Center Dietrich Distributing 102 Lakeview Dr., Gering.

We will be talking about the youth trap shoot and the scholarship fund at this meeting, so please attend for your voice to be heard!
